Currently accepting new families for the spring of 2025 with children ages 18-months to approximately 8 years.
Specializing in developmentally appropriate and neurodiversity affirming assessment and treatment.
After working in multiple settings and seeing the limitations, I decided to open Ivy Speech and Language to give parents and children the attention and quality of services they deserve.
As a parent, I know that we are our child's first and most important teachers. Because of this, parents are an integral part of assessment and treatment.
Keys to Success:
You are investing in your child, and my goal is to ensure that our time together is used as effectively as possible. Together we can help your child to make gains in their communication skills and enjoy themselves in the process!
I look forward to getting to know you and your child.
Sincerely,
Elena Smith
Helping children to communicate their thoughts, wants, and needs is my passion.
Our updated office provides a clean and comfortable environment for children and families to play and learn together.
This complimentary initial phone consultation is my opportunity to listen to your concerns regarding your child's speech and language, answer any questions, and schedule an evaluation if deemed appropriate.
Includes 15 minute phone consultation with a certified speech language pathologist.
Based on your concerns, an individualized combination of standardized and non-standardized assessments are administered in order to identify the presence (or absence) of speech and language impairments.
Includes up to 1.5 hr in person evaluation, comprehensive report, and follow up phone calls as needed.
Based on the findings and recommendations outlined in the comprehensive evaluation, your child will receive individualized evidence based treatment tailored to their specific needs and interests.
Includes individualized 30 minute in person session, home carry over, and caregiver training.
Ivy Speech and Language is proud to be collaborating with Over the Top Therapy to help support the diverse needs of our families.
We were brought together through a shared family when we were working with their child individually. We started collaborating and co-treating and saw incredibly positive results!
Every child has individual needs, but many children benefit from occupational therapy in addition to speech therapy.
